Cape Cod Times Review: Martina McBride Belts Out Ballads and Blues

“It’s one thing to watch a performer who’s clearly talented and shines on stage. But when that performer is truly a superstar, it’s an experience unlike any other.

Martina McBride is a superstar, and the country singer proved that Saturday night when she took the stage at a sold-out Melody Tent as part of her “Everlasting” tour. Looking fierce in a sequined gold suit and sky-high heels, McBride, along with her impressive band — all dressed in matching blue suits — enthralled concertgoers with her 24-song set lasting just over two hours.”

July Fan of the Month

July 4, 2014 — 8 Comments

My name is Jenn, I’m from Sugar Land, TX., and I have been a Martina fan since I was 9 years old. I just graduated from Sam Houston State University with a degree in Victim Studies. My favorite thing to do is sing, and I amjenn currently planning my move to Nashville in the fall to pursue my dream!

My favorite Martina song is Anyway – this song is my life anthem and lifts my spirits when I’m having doubts.  I became a member of Team Martina 2 years ago, and have had the pleasure of meeting Martina  a handful of times, but I will never forget the first time I met her. I couldn’t believe it was actually happening. She was right in front of me and I wanted to tell her how much she meant to me, but I completely froze, and might have cried a little. Instead of words, I just squeaked noises. Thankfully, I am now able to actually speak to her when I get the chance!
