Since Martina loves all Beatles albums I will assume she likes the Beatles very much; we know John does. They saw Paul in NY last summer and are probably still on a Beatles high from that experience....and since Martina seems to be doing a few new cover songs I would like to suggest they start doing Beatle songs during the concerts.... ....I love the Beatles. Enjoyed the Martina video from the Ryman they had showing for a few days. Best example of who sings better is having Carrie and Martina on the same show...no comparison. Although I will give Carrie credit for what she said during the interview...that she understands and gives credit to her fans for calling in to the radio stations, etc to request her songs....something we Martina fans need to...

Man it's really blowing outside....and COLD! I forgot how big a pain shoveling and snowblowing is...gotta get out of this place :). Very dangerous to be out driving on the highways today..white out conditions. Schools are closed, lots of businesses too....wind isn't suppose to stop all day so the snowdrifts will be huge by tonight

I am so starting to like the weather in Tucson...even the hot summers are better than the freezing cold, blowing snow, white-out winters we get here...and it's really starting today...man I don't care for winter weather anymore.... of course unless you're living in Crested Butte, Colorado or somewhere like that...skiing

I was glad to read that Martina includes Sarah McLachlan's Surfacing in her recommended list....one of my all time favorites. Along with Martina's Greatest Hits, Eagles Hotel California, Keith Urban's Golden Road, George Strait's The Road Less Traveled and Fleetwood Mac's Greatest Hits the albums we listened to while first dating.....lot's of memories.

Just finished reading David Crosby's book "Long Time Gone". Interesting book. I had read it years ago but forgot most of it. The first part is very interesting with his musical history (Bryds, CSN, CSN&Y and others) , the era and time of that music, and all the different people and places he has met and been. The middle section was almost depressing while he recounts his deep, deep, deep...

Just wishful thinking on my part.....we were driving back from Minneapolis/St Paul airport early the other morning and this song came on the radio. Eagles are my favorite band and this is a great song...I was wondering while it was playing if Martina and her band could pull it off. Not really in Martina's wheelhouse vocally but the band might enjoy playing the song...for what it's worth. ...

Big weekend planned....the weathers suppose to be great today...beautiful fall day. Heading for St Paul for Martina and Trace tonight, stopping at Cabela's on the way...maybe the casino after that. Be able to listen to the Iowa/Minnesota football game on the way up...perfect. Looking forward to hooking up with some fan club members before and after the show; having some drinks and talking...

Just read the post about last nights show on the forum. Sounds like some new and interesting things have been added...especially looking forward to seeing Martina ride the cresent moon around (above) the floor to the back stage...wish I would have went now after reading her comments about the Moline venue.

Made good friends with a couple people this past summer at the CMA festival....they're a blast. Wish they would call me some time....or better yet....come on up for the concert this weekend :)
