Martina McBride

I am currently in graduate school at UNC - Charlotte working on a PhD in Electrical Engineering. I spend most of my time at school. I am a total nerd and one day I hope to either be a professor or possibly a researcher.

In my time away from school I am a collector of sci-fi memorabilia and I go to as many concerts as I can. I absolutely love FanFair (I know it is suppose to be called CMA FEST but I like the old name) and I go every year. They allow you to renew your seats every year and I was able to get front row, one seat from center of the center section about 5 years ago. I will never let that seat go as long as they do the show and let me renew. It is quite a fun week and I enjoy meeting as many artists as I can and seeing the same folks every year.

Martina is my favorite artist without a doubt. She is absolutely amazing live and there is no one that I have ever seen who is better. Probably the best concert I ever saw was Martina all by herself in a little theater in Sevierville TN on July 29 2000. It was Martina's b-day and she was the only one to sing so it was quite cool.

Besides Martina I also like Taylor Swift (she is probably my second favorite after Martina right now and I dont know what it is but she is just awesome), Lee Ann Womack, Chely Wright, Carrie Underwood, Kellie Pickler, Julie Roberts, Trisha Yearwood, Brad Paisley, Alan Jackson, George Jones, Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton, and George Strait.
