Need to vent!
OK so everyone is giving $5 toward a gift for my boss and some of the people at my work can't give even $5 so I gave $20 extra to help out and I told my parents that and they were like that was dumb, not wise, you shouldn't have done that, they're just using you and you won't get recognized for it. It made me really mad!

Are you mad at your parents or the people at work? I think you did a great thing; made a good karma deposit. I wouldn't worry about what anyone else says because you'll be getting the benefits of that good karma back one day (maybe even with interest). Can't guarantee when tho'... :)
