I was so excited when I got chosen to attend this years fan club party! I have been a fan of Martina's since I was a little girl dancing around at my babysitter's house to her cd Evolution almost every day. Happy girl was my theme song and still is. Over the years I've been singing and listening to Martina's music and can't believe I finally got the chance to meet her!
When the day of the fan club party came I knew I was going to be overwhelmed with emotions. I arrived at Blackbird Studios and while waiting in line for us to get in I struck up conversation with the Martina fans around me. I will never forget the Marti-nots!!

It was great to meet and sing with you all!! When the doors opened we went upstairs and sat in the sweltering hear waiting to go down to the studio, meet Martina and sing! Thank you Tracy for everything that you did that day for us!! The Marti-nots were the 8th group to go down and sing/meet Martina.

Meeting Martina was amazing! There were so many things that I wanted to tell her, how much her music means to me and just that she is my idol! Of course I was so nervous I didn't really say much other than we found her twitter tickets in Dekalb, IL and got a really big hug!

I had her sign a sign I found at Cracker Barrel that said "Dreams Do Come True" that has a spot next to it for a picture. Of course you know what's going into that spot right? :)

After meeting Martina we all went into the studio to sing! We sang This One's For the Girls because our group was all girls with a variety of ages, it was so fun!


What a great experience! After recording the song with the girls we went in and met Martina's husband John!

Thank you again Tracy, Martina, and John for an amazing experience I will never forget!
