Ok. i have to say this is the first time ive ever risked my life to go see Martina :) I knew earlier this week that the weather here in SD was not going to be favorable ..as in freezing rain, snow, sleet. However, the weather ended up being okay Friday, Saturday- so Gram and i left for COuncil Bluffs. It was foggy on teh drive there but nothing too bad. Then SUnday night before the show, it started snowing ....
We left this morning around 9:15- and did not make it to Sioux Falls until 2:00. From CB to Sioux City, ...it was managable..at times, the visibility was pretty bad but could be driven in. I think there were 30 cars in teh ditch from the night before. However, from Sioux City to Sioux Falls...it was pretty much a white out.. i was so nervous!!! We had to keep going.. for fear of being rear ended... but we made it. Now, we are at my aunt's in Sioux Falls. So far school is late..im hoping its cancelled cuz i have no lesson plans prepared for a sub if I can't make it!!!
Well this is one Martina roadtrip for the books.

well there could be a blizzard in april. a few years ago we had a monster of a blizzard the very last week of april- no school and everythign!
