SO I am very excited. Finally going to make the trip to Ireland. It looks so beautiful there and I was extremely jealous to all of you who made the shows over there last summer!! Anyone else going?

Ok. i have to say this is the first time ive ever risked my life to go see Martina :) I knew earlier this week that the weather here in SD was not going to be favorable ..as in freezing rain, snow, sleet. However, the weather ended up being okay Friday, Saturday- so Gram and i left for COuncil Bluffs. It was foggy on teh drive there but nothing too bad. Then SUnday night before the show, it...

Okay- so FREEZING rain here today- not very nice out.. I'm PRAYING THAT the weather magically gets better by Saturday or at least sunday- I need to get to COuncil Bluffs for Martina! We have a very nice mother daughter, & gramma weekend shopping and concert planned.. I might hit something if we can't go.!

Well we had our first HS girls game of the year last night, and I coach JV. I wasn't sure how well we'd so considering I have 2 freshman, 3 8th graders, and a whole lotta freshman! I also have 2 soph but they are just starting out. AND.....we won in overtime! However after the game I was chewed out by a parent due to her child's playing time, the usual.. so we are off to a great start! hahah.....

WEll we've had quite a week in our two communities.. Monday- Ethan School Dist. lost their beloved superintendant.. (We co-op footbal with Ethan and my sister goes to school there) Terry was a great guy, I've known him since HS, as he would always be there when I used to play against his bball teams. He was recently diagnosed with cancer but came down with pneumonia and H1N1 - and his body...

So I'm seriously thinkgin atbout going skydiving this summer.. but tandem skydiving.. you know where you are strapped to a "Professional" so in case you pass out they can still pull the cord to the parachute... Anyone ever do this..will it make me puke? :)

So this week we had parent-teacher conferences.. and towards the end of the night a school boar member and his wife come down to my room .. they just "had to come see the famous teacher"... Turns out they were watching the Martina Concert on GAC and spotted me and my sister on there. haha.. at least I wasnt' drinking.. just dancing :) hahahaha
