Martina McBride

- I'm in university. Double major - English and Journalism
- Gilmore Girls is my favorite show... Lorelai is hilarious :)
- Love sports, but haven't played since breaking my foot in rugby my senior year of high school.
- I've been a Martina fan for as long as I can remember.
- My sister, Ashley introduced me to Martina's music. Ashley passed away in Dec. 2000. She was 17 and I was 9. Martina's music helped me through it all and even 9 years later it still gets me through.
- I've seen so many country artists (Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, Brad Paisley, Little Big Town, Dixie Chicks, Keith Urban, Lady Antebellum) but Martina's concerts have by far been the best!!
- I have an older sister, who is 33... she is disabled and blind. Also a big a Martina fan - she inspires me every day to do great things.
- My dream came true on March 16 when I got to meet Martina and then again the next day - it was all for my sister, Ashley. I wish more than anything that she could have been right there with me, but I know she was close.
- Both my parents have battled cancer. Martina's music has helped me so much during the toughest times.
- I love my life - just wish some things had turned out differently. I am extremely grateful for my health and for all the amazing people in my life.
