its bonfire night in the UK or Guy Fawkes as its traditionally called. It means everyone sets off fireworks and people light bonfires. It's my favourite festival of the year and its such a cold, crisp night in Scotland, cant wait to stand around the fire and watch the fireworks :)

Sugarland have been all over t.v here promoting their new single and album. It's exciting to see some country music being promoted and on the mainstream radio in the UK. All we usually here is Taylor Swift (who i do love!)

hope everyone had an amazing christmas filled with love and laughter. Scotland had a white christmas again this year :) although we have had steady snow for 4 weeks now! My aunt was proposed to at christmas dinner yesterday, so it ws a pretty special day at our house :)

just recieved a phone call from my Canadian family to say they have booked a flight and will arrive on Scottish turf in 36 hours! Some serious work needs to be done.... but im so excited!!

i have always seen myself as a small town girl i grew up playing with the new calfs and the hay bales and i can sort of drive a tractor. I live in a town about 3 miles long with a population of about 2000 people, side by side with 2 big towns and an international airport 3 miles away... so its not your typical small town but i love it!
