My mom told me the other day about something my grandma said to her before she died last January...she told my mom "Whenever you see a penny, it will be me watching over you." I don't know why she decided on pennies, but that is what she told my mom.

So, last night, I was out with my friend at Krispy Kreme, and I was just sitting there...and I had not noticed it before, but there was a penny at my foot. I thought of my grandma immediately! This confirmed that she IS watching over us now! That really gave me some comfort and reassurance. I do miss her A LOT, and I know I will see her again some day..but at least I know NOW that she is watching over me!:) I know that I have people up there watching over me, but I thought that was a neat moment for me and my grandmother! ;)
