This year I holidayed in Florida for two weeks with a friend which was great, a little stressful sometimes, but great. I would have loved to have seen more of Florida though. I've done all of the theme parks so often I would have liked to have seen more of the State. Unfortunately it would have seemed my friend did not feel the same way, she was happy to 'park it everyday.' which is fine but I'm at an age now where I have really itchy feet and want to see more! Especially when I'm in the States on holiday. A few years back I did a nine day tour of New Orleans (before the floods), Memphis and Nashville. It was awesome and I loved every minute of it.

Next year I hope to get back to Tennessee, this time with my parents, we'd like to stay within the Smokey Mountains region and from the look of the websites the cabins to stay in around that area look just devine! The views are amazing, we hope to go there around September/ October time for the colour change etc. I really hope we make it out there, also I hope we can go to Dollywood! Just one day at Dollywood and I'd be even happier with the experience of going there, how awesome would that be! So much fun!

I received the 'Official Vacation Guide' for 2009 the other day which I ordered through the Tennessee vacation website, took a while to get to me in the UK, a lot longer than I thought it would but well worth the wait, it's just packed full of great stuff including a small piece fromour very own Martina who speaks a little of Tennessee, saying how special it is. I agree and can't wait to visit another part of it. For now I just have very happy dreams of Tennessee, now there's a title of country song for you! LOL! xo
