Martina McBride

I live in a small country town in England, I have three gorgeous dogs.

I love movies, especially old movies of the Golden Hollywood period and the big 5 production companies.
Music and film are a passion of mine, my music and film collection, especially my film collection are the envy of many of my friends. I don't smoke or drink so my vice is my CD and DVD buying as well as my comic book collecting and autograph collecting (thanks for adding to it Martina!).

My other passion lies with theatre, especially musical theatre, I am a member of two AmDram musical groups and I love it, I hope to direct myself for the groups one day.

I love to read. From Shakespeare to Austin to Rebecca Wells, Fannie Flagg to Chelsea Handler and any biography I can get my hands on that are of the people I look up to.

I love designing and would like to further my career within the film industry or music or both! Why not?!

I love the country side and prefer it to the city, can't really stand city life all the mad hustle and bustle, give me the quiet country anytime!

I fell for Martina's music when I first saw/heard her in Baywatch...try not to laugh at me! But country music isn't as 'big' over this of the pond as it is in the US so I don't/ didn't know a lot of the artists other than Dolly of course, who I also adore.
I love Martina's music and her voice it rings right through to the soul and just resonates there, beautiful. I love many songs of Martina's especailly 'When God Fearing Women Get the Blues', 'Independence Day' (who doesn't love that?!) and with the new album 'Shine' - I think it's Martina's best to date, I don't think I skip over any song of this album...
I just adore 'Timeless' Martina's voice singing country classics is fantastic and I have great fun listening to them and then learning them on my guitar and singing them myself.

When I have a downer of a day and need lifting Martina's there to lift my spirit with ease, I smile straight away and enjoy the music and if it's a fast song with a stompin' beat you can find me in my seat at my desk at work or in my drivers seat of my car dancing like a crazy Muppet from the Muppet Show...sad but true, just shows I'm having fun and enjoying myself thanks to Martina!
