My girlfriend, who has never been able to attend one of Martina's concerts has finally secured tickets to attend her concert with George Strait on Feb. 24th in Des Moines, IA.

She had a great deal of trouble getting the tickets when they went on sale in advance on Martina's fan website, which she is a member of. I wondered how many other fans had incurred the same problem?

Also, I thought part of the reason we all signed up to be fan club members was to be able to get the "best" seats at the venue where she was appearing, plus backstage "Meet and Greet" passes to meet her. She told me she had not had any information forthcoming to her regarding the "M & G" passes. Does this mean Martina doesn't do "M & G's" for her fans anymore? Did my friend miss something on the website where she had to request them, or pay extra for them? If perhaps someone could clue me in on how to go about getting them,I would appreciate it.

Also, my friend has no idea where her seats are located at the venue. I would hope that they are "Front Stage and Center".

As a former entertainment showroom supervisor who worked with Ticketmaster, we ALWAYS HAD to reserve the first 50 seats "Front Stage and Center" for the artist appearing. Presumably those seats were held in reserve for their fan club members, and included the "Meet and Greet" afterwards. When the artist appeared on the day of the show,or sometimes beforehand, they would inform us how many of those seats they needed. If it wasn't all 50, we then could "release" the balance for public purchase through Ticketmaster. Some late buyers got REAL LUCKY, let me tell ya! :)
