Hello!
I am ellen... I live in Granger Indiana, which is right next to South Bend, which is right next to Notre Dame. I love Notre Dame.. It is such a beautiful campus and I try to get over there often to enjoy it.. I also do follow a lot of the Notre Dame sports as well.. Women's Basketball is my favorite! We have a great team this year ( I think so every year!) and it is going to be a fun season.. I also follow Men's Basketball, Volleyball, Softball and Football.. I usually watch the football games from my living room,,, so much easier! I am also a White Sox fan and do try to get to a couple of games every year.. Always great fun~
I worked for a grocery store for almost 30 years and have been retired for 2 years. (I have a very nice husband!).. I have been a volunteer at the Ronald McDonald Family Room located in South Bend for over 6 years.. I love it! It is located inside of the hospital and is a place where parents and siblings of sick children (up to 21 years of age) can go to get a break, a meal, watch TV, take a nap, use the PC and so on.. I do the 3-6 shift which serves a meal at 5 so I am usually busy in the kitchen. It is very rewarding...
Ok,, music! Martina is my favorite! My first country concert was August 1996 seeing Toby Keith and Le Anne Rimes.. I didn't even know who they were.. I enjoyed it and soon after that I was on the country track. I also was lucky enough to see Martina for the first time that same summer.. That was all it took.. I have probably been to about 10 of her concerts since then and each one keeps getting better and better.. What a gift she has!
I love a lot of different music.. Def Leppard, The Buckinghams, Donny Osmond, Bon Jovi, Faith Hill, Michael Jackson, The Mamma's and The Pappa's and so many more.. And,, I love to sing! Just for fun...
I have been married for over 30 years to a great guy.. No children but lots of nieces and nephews to enjoy..
I hope to get to meet some of you at the concerts I will be attending this tour.. I will be the one singing along~~ hehehe!
