This was my 5th CMA Fest and my daughter's 4th one. This has to be THE VERY BEST one yet! First of all, I was picked to join Martina's FCP this year! Wow! Is all I have to say. I don't think there was a dry eye in the theatre when she sang "the breast cancer" song. I really got choked up. Another reason this was one of our better years is that my daughter and I actually got along so much better this year. We had no arguments whatsoever! Now that's a first! Teenage Daughters...haha! Even though she is no longer a teenager. I think we just comprimised a lot better this year. For her, last year was all about meeting Taylor Swift...guess what she did!! This year, Taylor was not doing anything outlandish, so my daughter "hung out" with me. We did stumble on a few new artists...Corbette Jackson, Troy Olsen, and Josh Kelley...to name a few. We will not be attending next year, family obligations (another daughter graduating HS), and senior years are quite expensive. But my oldest daughter and I will be back in 2013.

Until 2013, I hope to see more of Martina, whether in concert or on award shows (that she will win)!
