For Mothers day , I decided to do something different for my lovely wife. She loves flowers so I spent the last 2 weekends clearing and digging a wild flower garden at the side of my yard. My dogs name is Ella Fitzgerald. She 1/2 Labrador Retriever and 1/2 Great Pyrenees and we got her from a rescue shelter in Salem NH. We finally got our first big snow fall in New Hampshire and it is March. It was about 12" and I even used my antique snowblower. My snowblower was made in 1973 by Montgomery Ward - remember that store ? This has been the mildest winter on record. Not that I mind, I am originally from Mississippi and Alabama and really enjoy Spring and Summer and warm weather.

One thing the Grammy's got right was awarding Alison Krauss and the Union Station 2 more awards. Alison Krauss picks up two more Grammy awards at the 2012 event, making her the most awarded living artist of all time with 28 awards. If you ever get a chance to see them in concert - GO.
