Meeting My Favorite Country Singer Martina McBride

This Christmas my two Aunt’s worked hard on getting me tickets to Martina McBride’s concert and they did it. My Aunt’s told me I am going to ride in a LIMOUSINE. Sooo I was very EXCITED. So I was waiting, and waiting, and waiting, and finally the BIG DAY came. I had school that morning then our friends came to go with us. My daddy took lots of pictures, then We ate, my neighbor came over to meet my friends. My friend told me, “Can we get you ready? And of course I said yes” So my friend got me ready, then my daddy took more pictures. Then we all got into to our car and… drove to end of the street at Kohl’s. we got out of the car and we went over to the limousine. The driver took a picture of us beside the limousine. Then we got in the car, my daddy took more pictures, and then my friend came to the back and sat with me. My brother said we Had to go to star bucks so we did. Some of us went in and they ordered. They came out, got back in the car and we drove off . In an hour we got there. The driver drove up to the Palace of Auburn Hills and waited for my Aunts. The chauffer then got out and came around on my side of the car. He opened my door and he said, “All right, Princess, its your night!”

He also said that he is going to drive Keith Urban in a week! Then he closed my door and went to his side of the car and got in. Then a little later my Aunts came. My daddy and my two Aunt’s and my grandma and grandpa went in. Then my daddy came out and got us. We went in. I heard someone calling my name! I looked around and then I see my friend Kaylin! I said, “Come here!” She said she’d be right there, and I said OK. She gave her tickets to a man, ran to me, and my daddy took a picture. Then we all went over to a board of Martina and we took lots and lots and lots of pictures! Kaylin said, “I have something, it’s a gift for you Rach!” It was a mood necklace that changes colors! And she has one too!

We all went to eat, and my daddy took even more pictures. Then my mom pushed me out of the restaurant. We all went to go sit down except for me, my mom and daddy.

We were waiting in the hall when a guy and woman came to take us down to meet Martina. The guy said, “You have the wrong meet and greet tickets!” And then my ant said “well they better be the right tickets because I paid But they worked it out. Then on the way to the room I saw two guys who I knew were Martina’s body guards! We took some pictures of them with me and my Aunt Bethany. My mom told them what happened and they said, “If Martina ever finds out about this she will be really mad and she will find out who did this!”

We went to meet and greet Martina. She walked in the room and my face was surprised, She was very nice. She was patient and kind. We broke a heart in half and she got a necklace with a heart and I got a necklace with a heart! She signed some photos of me and Jihan and some of her pictures too. She signed a photo book of mine. I gave her a package of letters and notes for her and she said OK Thank you! My mom said can Rachael what to take a pictures of you and her and she said OK! Sure She knelt down beside me and put her hand on my knee. A guy took pictures of us together! She told me to enjoy the show. In my mind there were so many questions that I wanted to ask her but she had so many people to meet so we couldn‘t talk long. I know she understands me because of the words in her songs! Then she met the others and we went into the concert.

She kept pointing at me while she was singing wild Angels. Will she singing independence day my friend was up the caned She sat on a few mitts, then Kaylin walk to me and she said did you see me? and I nodded my had yes. then she gave me a hug and she whet back to her sat in her set. Martina sat a blue moon and soared out over the crowd while singing “Concrete Angels.” After the concert we met up in the hall, and Jihan ran to me. She gave me a hug. My mom said, “ Do you want to buy two t-shirts?” So, of course, we did. There was so much more I wanted to hear and do but we had to go. We got back into the Limo and while we drove home. Jihan sat back with me. I still felt like I was in a dream. We all went home. It was the best night EVER!!!
