Hi Eddie! I am new to this since I just barely became computer literate last Nov. So, you are now no longer a "newbie." I have been a Martina fan since her very 1st video. I have been extremely ill for 20 years & have spent most of that time in the hospital, at home on IV's or feeding tubes. My children were only 3,4 & 5 when I became ill. My husband & children have bought me all of Martina's CD's & I have spent many hours listening to her when the pain was too unbearable & her voice has brought so much comfort over the years. I finally got to go to the CMAFest last year & got to see her perform. I wanted to go to the auction she held but ended up too ill to go that day & had to spend the day in bed in my hotel room. I wanted to stand in line to get her autograph & picture too, but was not able to sit that long in my wheelchair & then make it to the concerts in the evening! My son bought us tickets last year because I need surgey again but unless I put on 30 pounds, they can't do the surgery because I won't make it thru it. I have had 25 major abdominal surgeries & too many minor to count. We have tickets again this year & despite my frail & weak body, we are bound termined to make it to the CMAFest again. Are there any contests I can enter to try to meet Martina? If not, is there an address I can send a letter to her that will definitely get to her? I KNOW that she has many fans who are far more deserving than I, so I HONESTLY do NOT expect to be treated any differently or showed any favoritism. Please tell her thanks for sharing her wonderful gift with me & so many others & for making my life so much more bearable. I appreciate the fact that she puts family 1st & that being a mother is her 1st priority. For me, motherhood is the greatest blessing & gift God has given me. Thank you for listening & thank you for all you & the rest of the group does to make things easier for Martina. You each have something to give that makes it special. Have a great week.
