Martina at the Opry... Dream. Come. True.

So, in all my 14 years of fandom, I FINALLY got to see my hero, Martina McBride, perform the Opry. To make the experience even greater was that the Opry was being done at the Historic Ryman Auditorium. This marks my 8th Martina show and it's always like seeing her for the first time. The excitement is always overwhelming, the emotions run high when she comes on the stage, and when she's done, I'm on a high for the rest of the night. I'm so glad I've gotten the opportunity to see her perform the Opry. It's a dream come true.

Martina, you are amazing. You've been my hero since I was 8 years old. You taught me to sing. Your music has helped me through bad times and has increased the good times. The fact that you love your fans is so rewarding for all of us. Love you lots, girl. You are the best!

It was so great! It was a triple huge deal in my world. LOL. Grand Ole Opry equals major deal. Ryman Auditorium equals another major deal. Then having a performer being my hero of all time equals the third major deal! I hope someday you will get to see her at the Opry. It was just amazing.

Seeing Martina at the Opry is something I have yet to do, but I'm not complaining considering how many times I've been able to see her :) The Ryman Auditorium is absolutely amazing and I'm sure seeing an Opry show there is very special. When I was in Nashville, I got to go to the Opry, but in the Grand Ole Opry House. It was still awesome!!
