I grew up in south central Kansas. When I was a sophomore in high school, I started dating a guy who introduced me to going to Schiffter dances. We later got married and the Schiffters (and Martina!) played our wedding dance ... we were divorced three years later.
I married a wonderful guy a year later and we have now been married for 25 years. We have 20-year-old twin girls who are juniors in college.
I've followed Martina since the beginning of her recording career. It's been fun to say that I heard her way back when and it has been an amazing journey following her to where she is now.

Has anyone else noticed how the blogging to this site has slowed way down? Even Darren hasn't blogged in quite awhile. I'm not a big blogger, I guess I don't have much to say, but I do check here several times a day to see what everyone else is saying. And there hasn't been much to check! Hopefully now that the holidays are over, maybe the blogging will pick up again? :-)
