Bentley, my beloved Dog
Bentley was my little puppy, or should I say doggy of 8 years. He was a King Charles Cavalier Spaniel and was loved by everyone. He passed away on Saturday feb 18, 2011 due to a heart disease that his breed often gets. We had no idea that his organs were slowly shutting down, and he passed away peacefully in his sleep. I will always remember man's best friend as a kind, lovable furry creature that just wanted to be loved back. It will be very hard without Bentley in my life, but I know that God has a special place for him up in doggy heaven. :)

Lizzy-So sorry for the loss of your Bentley. I am a dog lover also and have "lost 3 previous dogs-a Scottie, a Miniature Schnauzer and a West Highland Terrier. I know have another Westie, who I got within a month of my other Westie's passing. It is so hard when they go to "Rainbow Bridge", but remember all the joy Bentley brought into your life. Perhaps in time, you will want to experience another puppy's love and make new memories also.
I do have a cosin in VT who breeds and shows King Cavaliers if you'd ever be interested! That breed is so very adorable and I love how they can travel easily under the seat on a plane, or in our purse! Love my Westie, but difficult for me to travel -he's too big for the plane rules(he's 18 pounds)! He has however become a great car rider in a crate for long distances!
Best wishes for future happier days~I don't think I have ever met you but wanted you to know that I sympathize with you and your pain. Gaylene Boisvert

I am sorry! :( I had a dog who was 17 and she passed away in 2007! We had to put her down because of congestive heart failure. It was hard! I know it is tough, but you'll get through it!
