Recently ventured to the great state of Hawai'i for my cousin's wedding. It was a family reunion/Christmas vacation/wedding celebration and it was AMAZING! wow, i haven't blogged in a really long time. what's wrong with me? :) this fansite rocks though. not even a year as a member yet and i've gotten to meet Martina, sit in the front row of her concert for free, won a bunch of stuff AND won a trip to the Fan Club Party (though i had to pass unfortunately). now if only i was 35 so i could win this Cheerios contest. bummer. :)

The second Martina walked off the stage for the final time on Sunday I was depressed. :( It's over...for me anyways. What an amazing concert and to be front row! And then to meet her! Why must all good things come to an end? Martina, can I go on tour with you please? :)

So I've got classes and shows for the Winter/Spring 2010 session at my theatre. Yay! www.standingotheatre.com But better news is that I will be meeting the one and only Martina McBride in 2 days! I have a feeling I am NOT going to want to go to work on Monday. :)

What is with the 5 minute Martina blurbs on Oprah? Hey, I'm glad she was on again but seriously...could we trade in Kirstie Alley? I'd pay for her not to be on again. As I recall Martina was the only one to graciously thank her former employer for letting her work there as a kid. That's a truly good person. Sorry, but I don't need to see the extra house that Kirstie turned into a kitchen.
