About
I love music...classic rock and country! My first concert was an AC/DC concert! I grew up listening to Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, The Beatles and many others. My favorites for classic rock are: The Boss (Bruce Springsteen...Thunder Road is my favorite boss song), AC/DC, Pat Benatar, Van Halen, and Lynyrd Skynyrd. My favorites for country are: Martina McBride (she can sing anything under the sun), Luke Bryan, Trace Adkins Jason Aldean and Keith Urban.
I won't lie...I love being lazy! I love shopping for shoes and clothes...but dislike grocery shopping!
I seriously dislike being cold...I could never live in the north. I would be miserable. I personally think it could be summer year round and be perfectly happy with the heat. I guess you could call me a heat-a-holic! It's never too hot for me. I even sleep with an extra blanket during the summers...I know...I'm odd!
I have two wonderful daughters...Kayla is a junior in college, she is a nursing major. Courtney is a senior in high school and plans to major in elementary education. I am also married to the most wonderful husband God has chosen for me...we've been married for 21 years!
I teach math to 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders. My students struggle with math and I try to help them understand by making it seem easy. It's challenging...but worthwhile in the end. I also work part-time for 21st Century After-School program.

When you are going through something hard and wonder where God is, remember the teacher is always quiet during a test...
Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6

This was my 5th CMA Fest and my daughter's 4th one. This has to be THE VERY BEST one yet! First of all, I was picked to join Martina's FCP this year! Wow! Is all I have to say. I don't think there was a dry eye in the theatre when she sang "the breast cancer" song. I really got choked up. Another reason this was one of our better years is that my daughter and I actually got along so much...
