On Friday morning, June 7, 2019, Martina and her team of volunteers partnered with One Gen Away to host a pop up mobile food pantry feeding people in need in Nashville. Over 20,000 pounds of fresh fruits and vegetables were distributed to 380 families.
As a way to give back during CMA Fest, volunteers from 20 states and 3 countries joined Martina to give away food, flowers, books, and love at the Fairgrounds Nashville.
On average 1 in 6 adults and 1 in 5 children in Tennessee experience food insecurity. Martina wants to help families in need put good food on their tables.
