February Fan of the Month

Hello, my name is Kaitlyn481435_555592831122397_102434473_n.  I will soon be 23 years old and I am from Albuquerque, New Mexico.  I love arts and crafts, drawing, and making jewelry.  I love to draw horses and portraits (I have drawn some of Martina).  I also like to ride horses and go skiing.  I am currently in my final semester as a Computer Science student at New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology, and I plan to pursue a Master’s degree in Computer Forensics.

I have always loved country music, and I have been a Martina McBride fan since I was 8 years old and heard “I Love You” on the radio, which continues to be one of my favorite songs along with “Love’s the Only House” and “Chances Are.”  The first time I saw Martina McBride in concert was when my family and I went to the Cheyenne Frontier Days Rodeo in 2006.  I loved that she played the harmonica to Love’s the Only House.  I have also seen her a couple of times here in Albuquerque.  I found a guitar pick with Martina’s signature on it there.  Last year, my parents surprised me for my birthday with tickets to Phoenix for the weekend to go see Martina and George Strait.  My best friend and I had a blast!  It was awesome!!!

I have not yet been able to meet her, but hopefully, it will happen sometime soon!  She is an amazing singer, and her music has and will continue to stand the test of time.
