BIRMINGHAM, AL (May 17, 2011) -- On Tuesday, June 14th, the country music community will unite to assist victims of the tornados that ravaged Alabama on April 27th. “BAMA RISING: A Benefit Concert for Alabama Tornado Recovery,” presented by Verizon, will take place at Birmingham’s BJCC Arena. It will feature performances by ALABAMA, who is spearheading the event, Brad Paisley, Sara Evans, Sheryl Crow and numerous other artists. My name is Sarah Ann, and I'm from Sharon (The Friendly City), PA.  I am so EXCITED to be Martina's "May Fan of the Month!" I have been a fan of Martina's music for more than 11 years, but I didn't attend my first concert until May 11th, 2007.  I was blown away, hearing her live, and I've tried to see her as many times as possible since!  Just last year I saw her in PA (where I met her for the first time), IL, CA, and WV!  My most recent show was last month in TN, for the CMT Invitation Only taping!  That was so much FUN to be a part of, and I was glad to finally have the chance to meet Tracy!  I'm hoping to make the trip back down to Nashville in June, to see Martina again and meet more fans!  I consider attending concerts to be my number one hobby!  I am a die hard Pittsburgh (Sixburgh) STEELERS fan!  I was in attendance at both the 2009 and 2011 AFC Championship Games, where Martina sang the National Anthem...AWESOME!  It's impossible for me to choose just one of Martina's songs as my favorite...I find bits and pieces of myself in far too many of them!  Besides her voice and music, I am a fan of Martina's simply because of who she is...I don't think you have to know her personally to see that she's a genuinely good and caring person...It SHINES right through and shows in EVERYTHING she does!  She is, without a doubt, my "Queen of Country!"  LOVE YA MARTINA!
