March Fan of the Month

Patty and BradHello, My name is Brad (aka WrongAgainBrad) and I live in Apple Valley Minnesoooota.  I am married with 3 daughters, 3 son in laws, and 3 grandchildren (#4 due in May!).  I became a “Martina Fan” in 2001 when my wife Patty surprised me with tickets for a TV special that was being taped in Minneapolis.  What I heard that night was amazing and about to affect my life in many positive ways.  I’ve been fortunate to have been invited to a few Fan Club parties in which I made new friends, met Martina, and have had opportunities to do things I normally wouldn’t do (like sing and spell words with by butt).  Fan Club parties also introduced us to CMA Fest which has led to some great family vacations.  I must say the Fan Club Parties Martina allows Tracy to arrange are awesome! We have been to many Martina concerts around the country – too many to count!

Most memorable would probably be in the Quad Cities (Moline) live taping.  See if you can find me as I made the final cut a couple times for the DVD :-) .  Favorite song is WYS (it was the song that got me hooked).  I’m glad to have been selected to be Fan of the Month to add to my Martina “resume”.  Now if I can just get one of those dang harmonicas! :-) .  Thanks and hope to see my Martina friends soon.

Martina McBride Announces Additional Everlasting Tour 2015 Stops

February 4, 2015 — 2 Comments

Martina will continue to amp up the music and momentum in the new year following the excitement of signing a new record deal with NASH ICON RECORDS, a joint venture label between the Big Machine Label Group (BMLG) and Cumulus. Due to high demand from fans and a successful run of sold-out shows, stops across the country have been added to the EVERLASTING TOUR 2015. An initial round has been announced and more are slated in the coming weeks.

“The band and I are having so much fun on this EVERLASTING TOUR! I really wanted to put together a show that is as visually entertaining as it is musically entertaining. The addition of the horn section and singers adds so much energy to what we do. We are enjoying the fresh take on our hits of the last 20 plus years as well as being able to play so much of the new album because it’s familiar music to my fans. I think we are all wishing this tour really would last forever!” said Martina.

julie fan of the month

Hi! My name is Julie and I have been married for 26 years; have two sons ages 21 & 15; and live on a family ranch/farm in SD. I have been a teacher for 25 years at Colome High School – Home of the Cowboys and Cowgirls!

My favorite Martina song is “Blessed” because God has given me so many blessings in my life. I have never met Martina, but I have enjoyed seeing her in concert. My most memorable Martina concert experience was at the South Dakota State Fair several years ago when it started raining. I am on the short side, and some tall guys in cowboy hats were in front of me. The rain changed from a sprinkle to a nice rain, and those boys were not tough enough to take it. When they left, I was able to see the stage! We couldn’t believe that Martina kept performing. It was awesome! I have had the privilege of seeing two of her Christmas shows, and her performances can really make the holiday season special. I am looking forward to her concert in Brookings on Feb. 13!
