Royal Caribbean International and Republic Nashville Present 'Martina McBride Live' in the Big Easy Aboard Voyager of the Seas
Country Music Superstar Helps Celebrate Cruise Line’s Return to New Orleans
This November, Royal Caribbean International will celebrate its return to New Orleans, La., in a big way. The eight-time “Best Cruise Line Overall” award winner* has teamed with Republic Nashville to treat invited guests to a special, live performance by one of country music’s most beloved artists, Martina McBride. Following the debut of her new album, ELEVEN, which hits stores on Oct. 11, 2011, the four-time CMA Female Vocalist of the Year is scheduled to perform aboard Royal Caribbean’s Voyager of the Seas, the largest and most innovative cruise ship ever to homeport in New Orleans, on Saturday, Nov. 19, 2011. The Martina concert for invited guests will take place in Voyager of the Seas’ Lyric Theatre before the ship departs on its Western Caribbean Thanksgiving cruise.
Voyager of the Seas ranks among one of the world’s 10 largest and most innovative cruise ships at sea. The ship features Royal Caribbean’s iconic rock-climbing wall, the Studio B ice-skating rink, a nine-hole mini-golf course, an in-line skating track, a full-size basketball court, the Casino Royale, and the Royal Promenade, a boulevard of boutiques, restaurants, and bars and lounges, where exciting parades and dance parties are held. Voyager of the Seas will offer seven-night Western Caribbean itineraries from New Orleans through April 2012, visiting Cozumel, Mexico; Falmouth, Jamaica; and George Town, Grand Cayman. Guests will enjoy one of the industry's most innovative cruise ships, exciting itineraries to popular destinations, and the cruise line’s world-renowned friendly and engaging Gold Anchor Service, which comprise the Royal Advantage. Staterooms are still available aboard Voyager of the Seas’ Nov. 19 sailing through travel agents, http://www.RoyalCaribbean.com or through (800) ROYAL-CARIBBEAN. Fares start at $499 per guest, double occupancy.
In addition to New Orleans, Royal Caribbean is making it easier than ever before for Gulf Coast area residents to enjoy an affordable, hassle-free vacation by bringing its innovative ships to other Gulf Coast ports for the winter season, including Galveston, Texas; and Tampa, Fla. Guests can choose between two seven-night Western Caribbean itineraries onboard Mariner of the Seas from Galveston, starting at $530 per guest, double occupancy; or a selection of five-night and four-night Western Caribbean itineraries onboard Jewel of the Seas from Tampa, starting at $309 per guest, double occupancy.
