Martina McBride Sees Her Book “Around The Table” For The First Time
September Fan of the Month
My name is Madie, I just turned 17, and I am THRILLED to be Martina McBride’s September Fan of the Month! I live in Birmingham, AL and have an identical twin sister and little brother. I’m in the 11th grade and my favorite subject in school would have to be Choir…because I love to sing! Music (Martina’s specifically) is such an important part of my life; it inspires me to focus on the positive. I was born prematurely at 25 weeks; I was given lots of oxygen, but that caused me to lose my sight. I’ve been blind my whole life, but it doesn’t stop me from chasing my dreams.
I’ve been a die-hard Martina fan for 3 years now, and have seen her 9 times in concert! I know all of her songs by heart and am so thrilled when I introduce her music to someone and they instantly become a fan! It’s so hard to pick a favorite tune, but I LOVE all of her power ballads, and the album cut from “Eleven”, “One Night”, is so much fun, too! Martina’s voice is breathtaking, especially LIVE!
I’m a proud member of her volunteer group Team Martina, and I recently raised $2000 for an orphanage in Guatemala. Because of this, I was given the incredible honor of not only meeting Martina, but singing with her!!! It was such an amazing, and emotional experience that I’ll always cherish – it made me realize dreams really do come true! I’m so proud to call myself a Martina fan…she makes all of us feel so special with her giving, caring personality – and her timeless songs will be treasured forever.

Martina McBride Announces Fall Leg Of Soulful ‘Everlasting’ Tour
Martina McBride’s ‘Everlasting’ Tour has already seen the “petite powerhouse” (Rolling Stone Country) play sold-out shows across the country this year and will continue through the fall with 40 additional dates — seven of which have already sold-out.
Backed by an 11-piece band — including trumpet, tenor sax, bari sax and trombone and a trio of back-up singers — Martina’s live show brings the iconic sounds of the ’50s and ’60s from her ‘Everlasting’ album alive. “We’ve worked hard to put together a show that is visually entertaining as well as very rich musically,” shares Martina. “There’s so much for the audience to see and experience.”
“It’s familiar music coming from the one of the most recognizable voices of any genre, yet with a stage plot unlike anything in McBride’s illustrious 22-year career” (Rolling Stone Country).
The four-time CMA Female Vocalist of the Year puts her own spin on some of her favorite R&B and soul classics including the Supremes’ “Come See About Me,” Van Morrison’s “Wild Night” and Otis Redding’s “I’ve Been Loving You Too Long” but also performs fan favorites like “A Broken Wing,” “Love’s The Only House,” “This One’s For The Girls,” “Independence Day,” and “In My Daughter’s Eyes.”
“I feel like this show really takes the audience on a musical journey,” says McBride. “The songs from Everlasting and my hits blend seamlessly together throughout the night.”
Seven dates on the Fall leg have already sold-out, including Meridian, MS, Forrest City, AR, Lake Charles, LA, two dates in Nashville, Midland, TX and Dayton, OH.
