On March 9, 2017, Martina and Team Music Is Love threw a baby shower in New York City for young mothers and babies in need who live at the Covenant House shelter.
Martina spent time with all the moms and babies and treated them to lunch. Each mom received gifts of bath supplies, books and toys to help them care for their infants and toddlers. Martina also invited the entire shelter to come to her show that night at the PlayStation Theater and donated tickets to them.
Huggies Diapers and First Quality donated cases of Huggies and Cuties diapers and wipes to the shelter. Huggies also donated a one month supply of diapers to each mom through their No Baby Unhugged program. In all, over 18,000 diapers were donated to help moms in need in New York City.
Olive Garden sponsored lunch for the entire crowd.
