Before her show on November 19 in Des Moines, IA, Martina McBride and Team Music Is Love provided an early Thanksgiving meal to people in need.
Well known for her culinary skills & her book “Around The Table”, Martina and volunteers showed up at the Hope Cafe in Des Moines, IA, to serve lunch. And, with the Thanksgiving holiday coming up, Martina donated all the food to feed the 400 people served at the cafe during breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The Hope Cafe, a part of Hope Ministries, is a free community cafe that serves a hot meal to men, women, children and anyone in need. Hope Ministries also provides shelter and a warm place to stay for hundreds of residents each night in Des Moines.
Thank you to the Hope Cafe and the local residents of Des Moines, IA, for volunteering and partnering with us to bring smiles and hope. As part of her Love Unleashed Tour, Martina is setting out to spread love and positivity in the towns she’s performing in.
