Oh yes, love that CD! But to be fair, it's with all of Martina's other CDs on my iPod. I always have it on shuffle, so it's not as if I'm listening to all of the songs in one shot.

Not really, but I wasn't fond of the album to begin with. I do still love Everybody Does, though. That one still gets played pretty often.

Yes, I go through a period where I listen to all her albums on rotation. I listen to at least one song of every album everyday because I pretty much have almost all of them on my ipod haha

I really loved WUL, still do.

I've been on a Martina album trek for about a year and so I've listened to all the songs numerous times. There's not a song I don't like.

To this day I dont understand why 'For These Times'wasnt a major hit.My read on that is that its too soulful for my pickup truck beer drinking country music format.I think alot of her music doesnt necessarily fit country music. It fits more of a light rock-love song format with lyrics and messages that can be alittle too deep for beer swilling Billy.

I listen to it every now and then, but not as much as 'Shine'. It's an awesome album but I'm still addicted to 'Shine' to listen to it in full all the time.

I definitely still listen to it! I haven't listen to it in a while... As a matter of fact, it's been a while since I last listened to a full Martina album, because I seem to have so many other albums I wanna listen too! LOL

Each time we listen it is a new event.

Evan Eisenberg, in his book/essay "The Recording Angel", referring to recordings as works of art, said that in the "great majority of cases, there is no original musical event that a record records or reproduces. Instead each playing of a record is an instance of something timeless. The original musical event never occurred; it exists, if it exists anywhere, outside history".

Put that in your pipe and smoke it next time you dig out old Martina albums and hear something new.

    Cordially,
    Tom

I gave WUL 3 stars, out of a possible of 4.

Nothing wrong with that cd at all.

Everybody Does is still my fave song on it. Especially after she pulled my name from the bucket at the fan club party and did it for me/us....:)

Listened to it on my way to Little Rock, along with many other M cds.

WUL is my work album. For some reason when I'm in the mood to listen to music at work at my desk it is always WUL I end up listening to on my MP3 Player.
