ELEVEN, POLLING Martina's CD catalog
a little bit of Polling here - ala Frank Luntz
Not trying to get too carried away with numerical rankings
How do you rate ELEVEN?
A. Martina's best release to date;
B. Among Martina's top 2 or 3 releases
C. somewhere in the middle
D. in the lower tier of her releases
With, almost a week in, I would go with 'A' - best release to date
For me, there's not a wasted note, instrument or lyric,
Each song is unique and can stand-out on its own -

A bit early to tell. Could end up thinking it's the best. For now, I'll put in the top 2-3.

As much as I love all of Martina's releases, prior to Eleven,
there were always a few points on each album that would make me hesitate to call it the "best"
Examples included - too much of a string section in the middle of the song, the overall theme/lyric of the song, or simply a song was just ok and did not stand out.
With "Eleven", there's absolutely no hesitation from me to call her Best Studio work to date. -

As much as I love so many of Martina's albums, I will have to go with this one is the best to date. There is most certainly a very diverse collection here that will win the hearts of many.

I really think this might be Martina's best album in a long time. To me, it takes the best from WUL and Shine to combine them together into an awesome album.

Maybe a B.among Martina's top 2 or 3 releases. It is early to really tell as there has been alot more time to fall in love with past albums and songs on them.

I just got it, I ordered it om Target.com about a month ago and they delayed the order, saying it would get here between 11/10/11-11/28/11, it never came, so I canceled the order, and bought it a few days ago from Walmart. I would have to go with B.
