I'm sure this is to your great disappointment but no I am not, I don't want to shatter your world but Anne from Avonlea is a fictional character. Although, I get that a lot, even had strangers(tourists) take my photo when I was little because I had the same name as her.

Know I should tell you the tourists were Japanese, and from what I've heard they are obsessed with Anne of Green Gables. She's quite famous over there.
