WBW STATION INFO
As well as battling the CU, KP and KU fans voting on WSOCFM and Y108 and requesting WBW all weekend, I've also been looking into how WBW has been performing on individual stations. I've still got alot of stations to check but I've listed a few below.
Each station has a Top 100 and below are just a few stations where I have checked where WBW sits:

These positions have altered a little since yesterday, some going up, some down.
The following stations did not have WBW in their Top 100.

The Eagle 97.2 FM (Norfolk) lists WBW as the first choice to vote for the "Hampton Roads Top Twenty".

I actually contacted a local non-country, Top 40 Hits-type of a radio station last week to request WBW and the DJ's response was that it hasn't been "released" yet to mainstreamed radio, so he doesn't have it to play. Huh?? Could that be why all of those stations you listed haven't started playing it yet? I didn't think Martina was considered just a country artist, or is she?? Also, are these local western PA stations that you listed?

Just a reminder about these direct links to stations and such. A few years back, I got into huge trouble for doing this. I'm trying to find out if this policy has changed. It would be great if it has, but stations can and will get very angry if out of area folks are requesting, etc.

Just a reminder about these direct links to stations and such. A few years back, I got into huge trouble for doing this. I'm trying to find out if this policy has changed. It would be great if it has, but stations can and will get very angry if out of area folks are requesting, etc.

I did remember you having some bother with direct links that's why I just listed chart positions without giving links and saying - Go Request! (although I'll admit the large text saying 'We will get this song to #1' kind of indicates that I am saying to go request)
As an out of area person, I only request on stations I listen to online and where I have built up little conversations with DJs over the years.
The reason behind me listing this station info is to encourage people to request in their own area and/or favorite stations, surely that would make a difference plus not anger stations by having everyone go to just a few stations. Does that make sense?
If the powers that be don't want me to post the info, just let me know. I don't mind, I just thought it would help. I'll post another update in a wee while but if people want me to go no further, like I said, let me know.
Heidi, did I tell you that I'm finally going to get to see Martina!!!! I have tickets for Dublin!!! An eleven and a half year wait and finally I will see her in concert!!!!!!!!! -

Kara, this wasn't directed at you or anyone in particular. Also, sorry if it sounded like I didn't appreciate your hard work and enthusiasm. What you're doing makes perfect sense and is a huge help. It gives a very clear picture of exactly how the song is doing, and the type of support it will need.
And yes, folks out of country have no choice but to stream stations. I was just starting to see some specific links popping up here and there.
For the record, for those who don't know...a few years back I posted a direct link to a local music survey. The station was not happy when a bunch of Martina's fans from all over took part in the survey. It was just meant for local listeners.
This resulted in the station contacting: the fan club, the label, Martina's manager and yes--Martina! I was completely to blame and felt horrible about it to say the least. Just don't want to see a repeat of that.
Honestly, I don't know if things have changed but I imagine they're the same.
