Scalpers Here !!!
I found these posted at the web address for tickets for Cleveland Ohio. I hope nobody here is helping these people get the tickets instead of letting people here have them !!!!

Do they give exact seat numbers? Without those, we wouldn't be able to tell where those seats came from :/

Scalpers join fanclubs for this very reason.
The $20 is just the cost of doing business.
Dishonest on their part, but I don't see how it can be stopped.
You could terminate the membership, but so what, they already got the tickets and will just join again under a new name.

Tom thats true, but if part of getting pre-sale fan club tickets were having to be picked up at will call, with id it would make it much tougher for them. It could be just part of the rules for buying pre-sale its a club and they can make up there own rules govering how the tickets are distributed. Just my thoughts on this !!!

That's right. It is only with this tour and the new program that we actually get the hard tix in hand.
WIll Call does make it hard to sell tickets for people who for one reason or another cannot make the show. But it also cuts down on the scalping. I think. THough, back in 07, I was lax in getting online and bought by FC Presale tix too late to get right up front. I went on a reseller site, I think it was StubHub or eBay, and bought two ticket in row 3 pit, center. And the seller mailed them to me right away.

With some of the clubs we run we do just that. We do not tell people where the seats are and they are only available the day of at the box office. I hope we don't see much of it here!

I wouldn't trust getting tickets from anywhere except through the fanclub or the ticket venue of the concert. I fellow worker of mine tried to buy tickets through ebay and paid $500.00 for them and guess what--he never received them. He learned his lesson!!

I think the day of would be a good idea, its only a couple of hundred tickets and even fewer people who would have to do it. I said something because mine are in the 3rd row and a couple of other people under the Cleveland tickets sales have them also in the 3rd row so I know they came from the fan club. It pretty much sucks for people who wanted them for themselves and not to resell them.

For the cleveland show, two of my six tickets are in the 7th row, it upsets me that scalpers take great seats away from the real true fans. my other tickets are in the 3rd & 4th row. when searching for seats, i kept trying to get closer but it just wasn't happening so i took 7th row. It would have been nice to have all of them closer up and together.

I had the same for the 1/31 show. Best I could get was Row H.

I've never liked the whole WILL Call thing. It requires alot of faith and trust that your seats will actually be there after a long drive, or air fare, and hotel costs...etc. BUT...it definitely cuts way down on the scalping. Double edged sword I suppose.
I looked at alot of this scalping site's prices for Martina shows. Some of them were way to high of course. But for the Little Rock show, the cost was actually lower than what I paid thru ticketmaster. Very odd. Go figure.
It's funny. I've always thought of Ticketmaster as an evil monopoly that all but rises to the level of being scalpers too. Due to the excessive extra charges they tack on after the original ticket price. -

Will Call with Id sounds like a great idea, but scalpers will always find away. The only bad thing about Will call from a personal point of view is when you are out of town and comming back home day of concert and get stuck at airport and can not make it. The person you where going with can not even get the tickets and find a last minute replacement. I really hope This senerio does not happen to me again on Jan 29 as My Mom is looking forward to seeing Martina and Trace. Mom is really looking forward to going.

I am not a fan of buying seats without knowing the location. I certainly understand the logistics of it but it's very frustrating for someone who only likes premium seating. :)

I also wold be hesatint on spending A LOT of money to find out your in row 15 on the floor and had to stand the whole time. For will call if you take all the paper work with you something should be able to be worked out. Mistakes happen, the ones that happened with this tour were fixed by the powers to be and the seats were very good. I guess we'll see if the tickets arrive on the 4th as stated. The worse part is they have some for Martina for over $600.00.

The only way I can get the seats I want here in Detroit is from a scalper especially when I find out she is coming 8 hours after the public sale!!! I have an add on Craigs List where im looking one time 2 years ago a guy was selling seats from the fan club and was meeting people at the venue. I have never been able to use the pre sale and have been a fan club member for years and check often to see if she is coming there was no notice here in the metro detroit area and im pissed!!!
