Just curious Martina fans, how many of you purchase tunes on-line versus how many of you purchase only physical copies like cds??

Me personally I believe I have purchased only one or two albums online, everything else I have cd.

i have only purchased two songs on line, the rest are cd's.

I purchase the CD's for her albums when released and download the singles released prior to the album release. I have downloaded alot of her cuts from other albums (duets with other artists' albums and compliation CDs) instead of purchasing those CDs. Bought SHINE online because of the extra album cut offer. Which was cool because it started downloading at 11pm the night before release, so I got to listen before going to bed, instead of waiting to pick up CD on the way to work the next morning.

I always buy Martina's cds, but I buy a lot of songs/cds online now, it's much easier for me.

I have not bought any online. I always buy the CD

I prefer to have the actual CD in hand. Now when it comes to Martina I will buy what is necessary to get the bonus tracks. So if a certain song is only available through itunes or some other digital retailer. I will get that as well as the CD from the store. I remember when Waking Up Laughing was released I stayed up to download it at midnight. The next morning I went and got it at Target or Walmart.

Back when Emotion was released I wanted the bonus cut, For The Love Of A Woman. So I bought one at Kmart (couldn't find it there right away), one through the fan club for that pre-sale, and one that I was able to get right away at a CD signing at Walmart. I have actually done this with every CD since The Way That I Am; so I could get my hands on every possible song of Martina's. WOW was just thinking how many copies of White Christmas I have. I think it is 6-8 copies. Good thing I love Martina's Christmas music...but then again how couldn't you!

Back to the digital download question. When you purchase a CD or single digitally does it count on album sales?

They do count, so that is a good thing. Part of my problem with the iTunes concept is paying ten bucks for a download when I can have a better quality recording and a hard copy on CD and get artwork and album notes for the same amount or slightly more or less. I bought Miranda's new album on Amazon for like $8.49 delivered or something, cheaper I'm sure than the iTunes download!

Thanks for the answer to my question Darren. I knew that you would have the answer to that. And I completely agree I want the CD in hand but when it comes to bonus tracks for Martina I will do it. Anything that I can do to help promote Martina I do. I have two digital books on my computer that I never look at. Of course, I also have the hard copy because it's Martina. I have noticed to quality difference and I thought it was imagination at first.

I always buy all Martina's (only)CDs . I also buy all her singles and other singers on iTunes .

All CD's bought at the store.....

I own all of Martina's CD's and have also purchased online- hey every lil bit helps :) I prefer buying online these days but Martina is the exception to the rule. On OT, Lady A's Need to Know is awesome! :) I ADORE IJCYM- today btw was a great Martina day music wise- Heard TOFTG, 2 minutes later next station White Christmas, 20 seconds later IJCYM!!!!!! :)

Same here only buy music from stores

I actually perfer the CD however I would rather have my wisdom teeth taken out than go into a mall during the holiday season so I will buy on I-tunes- but I do buy the whole album and not just the single.

I have CD for everything and that applies to every artist. I much prefer the physical product and the book etc. I did buy SHINE off I Tunes as I had to order from America for the CD, So I have the I tunes on my I pod and the Cd along with her others in my collection.

I'v began to buy more albums off of itunes as most CDs i want are not available here in Ireland and it's just easier. But if it's one of my fav singers i make sure and get a physical copy from amazon or somewhere!!
