Bossier City 1-28-2012
Well to start with it was a packed house. The setlist was the same as Lafayette except she replaced Broken Umbrella with Anyway and also sang Where Would You Be. I must say she was fantastic as usual, but could tell she still had that cough. The sound for the first 3 or 4 songs was kinda messed up. It was hard to understand her, but it wasn't her fault. It had something to do with the venue, but they fixed whatever the problem was and she didn't miss a beat. Standing ovation for Broken Wing and Where Would You Be that almost brought her to tears. She sang approximately 1hour and 15 minutes. I have no regrets and can't wait until next time. I only stayed for about 30 minutes of George because hubby had to go to work. But the crowd was definitely into him. The only part I didn't care for and its just my opinion was the stage in the center. They would walk around and it seemed like you had to wait until they got in front of the section you were sitting or could watch the big monitor above. I personally like the end stage better. But in all, worth every penny!!

Yeah, the concert in the round thing that george does is not my fave- i had to deal with it last year with Law shows- but thats how he likes its so, thats what he does...Every time u take a pic, unless ur up close, u get the stage equipment and/or backs of musicians in the pics too- oh well, you'll have that.. Caint wait to see martina in the ATL!! I am all sorts of pumped up abput it!! Hope we get Anyway!! jus sayin...

Thanks for the review and glad you had a wonderful time! Skeptical about the in the round set up myself. We shall see in Orlando....

Gareth: Mother, I have two things to say about your singing. One, it's warbly. Two, it's off pitch.
Me: Is it always off pitch?
Gareth: Not always.
Me: Well that's something...at least. -

Re: Bossier City 1-28-2012
The merchandise table was very limited. It was about 90% George and 10% Martina.

Re: Bossier City 1-28-2012
I saw two different tables with both. Martina has several shirts that are not on the website store shown here. Of course we got one of each!! ELEVEN tour shirts and IGLYTI shirts with lyrics on back. Take extra funds, they run around $30 each.....

I had the best time. She rocked as usual. I'm still on my Martina rush!!!!!!! I never realized how nice looking George is. No wonder she loves touring with him.

Makes me really excited for Dayton show in June. For the fact it's just her by herself there so a regular Martina concert is worth the wait. It's been way too long for me but this area is about an hour and 15 minute drive.
