Two Presale Ticket Questions
I appreciate any feedback on the two questions! I've never done presale before.
1.) Does it matter which tickets/seats you want to buy? I saw there is a limited number of presell, so I wondered--do I have to buy the most expensive? Are they close to center front if so?
2.) Which time zone do the tickets go on sale? For instance, I'm wanting to buy Wichita, KS tickets on Tuesday. Says they go on sale at 10:00 AM. Is that Central Time?

Presale Rules?
I know you have to pick up presale tix at the venue and you need your membership card. Anything else?

Good question I was wondering about that ,too. I live in Alaska and I am buying them for PA. A 4 hours difference.

Most likely they are gonna be the most expensive tickets, since the floor seats are usually the most expensive category, not including some special offers or auctions or something. And if you want to be close to the stage, you have to get the floor seats. All previous fan club tickets have always been floor seats and even though we have a new system now I believe we're still gonna be getting floor seats.

I think, what everyone has said is true.. the time will be central time & the seats are almost always right up front~ very close to the lovely, Maritna : )

I think you'll also need the card used to purchase the tickets & maybe an ID as well!

Quick question: Are we told the location of our seats before we decide to purchase them? A lot of fan clubs now don't release the seat location until you get to the venue. I'm not a fan, haha.

Not central time. http://www.martinamcbride.com/forum/mainroom/34220 is the thread where they discuss that ALL SALES are done at 10 AM Pacific. The sales aren't done through ticketmaster, but through the website.

Yes, the pre-sales will show you the location of the tickets before you purchase.
And I believe it's always going to be Pacific Time since that's the time zone ground(crtl) is on.

Darren - the news article up for the presales says the tickets tomorrow go on sale at 10 a.m. CST.
So now I'm confused - it is 10 CST as in the article or 10 PST as the post ground ctrl did earlier? That's quite a difference and I don't want to miss it!! Can someone confirm which for sure it is??

I have gotten Pre-sell tickets on numerous occassions. Everytime I have, I have always been third row center. I assume that is the closest you can get with tickets through the fan club. I am hoping there will be a Front Row Backstage Contest this year. I would LOVE to get my hands on that prize!! Good Luck:)

Yep, the first two rows always go to the people at the venue and people they know etc. John told us a couple of years ago that he hates that, but there is nothing that they can do about it.

If it's 10 am pacific time, then it will be 11 am mountain time, 12 pm central and 1 pm eastern.

Well then there must have been some sort of a problem there, because it usually doesn't take that long. I don't think it has ever taken longer than 2-3 weeks whenever I renewed and I'm overseas! But the fan club website used to say that it indeed can take up to 8 weeks, although almost always people got their stuff a lot earlier.
