I was just watching the video for "Care." Martina doesn't appear in it...and that's fine. However, her vocals have been replaced by another singer. What's up with that?

That would stand to be the case because I just seen something on the Pistol Annies FB page saying one of the singers from "Pistol Annies" is in the video and sings on the song with Kid Rock.

BOO!! i wonder why- maybe Martina was unavailable at the time of filming?? idk and i think they left some of her vocal parts in- like the high parts??

they r playing Martina's version with TI and Kidd on our station! i think the replacement is just for the video!

Perhaps Kid Rock had a concern that bringing Martina to the video shoot would invoke a "party type" atmosphere??

The only explanation I can think of is that wasn't Martina still with RCA when she recorded this? I could be wrong, but if she was maybe she couldn't record the video.
Interestingly enough, Kid Rock himself was just on CMT's Top 20 Countdown explaining this to Evan Farmer. I didn't get to the remote quickly enough to turn it up, but I think he just said something to the effect that it was one of those "label / music business things that I won't bore you with." It will be on again at least another time or two this weekend if you want to catch the episode to hear his explanation for yourself. (It's actually right before they play video #12 of the countdown.) Sorry I didn't catch the exact wording...I was trying to get my little one ready for school.

OK, so if M is on the radio and CD and not in the video, who will get a # 1 hit when it goes #1?
well when the radio announcer says Kidd rock with Martina and TI then i guess it is M and i know her voice LOL..why doesnt everyone go ask her on twitter why she isnt on the video?
