Hey everybody,
So, I had a talk with the extraordinary Tracy Weaver the other day! Martina and crew are very excited and proud of all of the fans for pitching in on this effort to promote IGLYTI and to raise money for The American Cancer Society. They are behind us 100%! We are inspired by the example Martina has already set in her work for worthy causes.
Did you know that our fan club has inspired a new chapter of Team Martina to form in Minnesota to raise money to fight breast cancer?! And another is forming in Texas. That's incredible!... This is becoming a national movement thanks to all of you!
Would you like to be a part of history and TeamMartina but you can't get to Nashville to do the walk with us on Oct 15? Would you like to be a part of the fight against cancer and help promote I'm Gonna Love You Through It? Our team will be in the media more very soon! We are all leading the way! Here's your chance...
You can be a part of our virtual team online. Sign up online to be on our team even if you can't be there for the walk. When you sign up, you'll get your own fundraising page... then send the website to your family and friends and tell them about IGLYTI and why you're raising money and ask them to donate to help fight breast cancer.
Our goal is $11,000 for Martina's album "11" on Oct 11. And remember Amy will be shaving her head as a show of support for cancer patients if we reach the goal. And we all know that Country Weekly and CMT News will come knocking for such a story.

HEGNER!? are u signing up as a team or as a virtual member on the Team Martina page? I have as MY personal goal, on my page, as 600 bucks, but the team, as a whole is shootin for 11000!!

u have me so confused now- i have a personal page and i put a different goal then my team,...my team goal is 11000 and ur personal goal is whatever u want to set it at.. u can always change it..if its asking u your personal goal for ur page, then thats whatevs # u want.. jusr realized this is redundant- sorry dont know why i think i can esplain this as I cannot even get my Dachsund to listen me half the time..

Dumb question - Regarding the people that aren't going to Nashville that are on the virtual team,
do we suppose to participate in the organized walks in our designated state.?
for example - the closest one to me is Manchester, NH - Oct. 16, 2011
also - the one in Manchester will give T-shirts with team name to all team members with 10 or more that

You are free to join our Team Martina and help the Nashville team online and walk around your neighborhood, or of course you can join a walk in your state of your choosing if you want and do that - that is separate from Team Martina in Nashville, but you are welcome to do that to fight cancer also!

Sort of...so I'm guessing they won't allow you to walk with everyone else (at whatever your given location is) unless you sign up as a separate fundraiser. Well, I'll call you later today....

They will probably be cool with you walking there! Let me know which walk you want to do... I will get on the horn with their leader people and see what they want you to do and I'll tell them about Team Martina. There is probably not any cost assoc with walking in their walk... so you can certainly do walk with them

There's also a walk on Sunday, October 23rd of this year in Columbus, Ohio. My husband's relatives have walked this before and I'm gonna request the day off from work so I can attend with them this year. My husband's aunt and grandma both suffered from breast cancer.
