Free Concert - Oct. 1

Independence Bank on Friday morning announced that country music stars Martina McBride and Jack Ingram will perform a free concert at a grand opening celebration for its new main Henderson branch at Center and Green streets.
The concert will be from 6 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 1.

The concert will be held at their newest signature location - Liberty Square, 76 Green Street in Henderson from 6 to 9 p.m. followed by a grand finale fireworks display. I'm guessing thats western ky Beck

Since that is about 14 hours from me, it's not likely I would make it. Tis a bit to far for me.
We know the usual suspects will make it. Lucky...

Dang it, I live in Ohio now not southern Indiana. I would've loved to go to that as well. I can't believe my luck at all.

I don't have to drive to the venue, get a room, or even use my gps....it is 2 blocks from my house and I can walk to it!!!!! I am even a bank member, so I get to sit in the fenced-in vip area.....I am sooooo stoked about this concert!!!!

Well if that isn't just perfect for you. So jealous but very very happy for you. By the way Put that Happy in your pocket.. I am paying if forward from the video I seen. Save your Happy for a day when you need it.

We can bring chairs and coolers (no alcohol)....no assigned seats. I am asking tomorrow (when I go to the bank) what time we can start going in, so I can take our chairs in. That way I can plan my day. There isn't any fencing or anything up yet (as they are still working on the new bank and landscaping) except a sign about Martina and Jack (the billboard was changed out last week).
They are closing 3 streets for this for the people to be in (locals seem unhappy about this because our downtown is 2 blocks away and has been under construction for the last year). Green St/Hwy.60., which is the street that runs in front of the bank, is the main drag through town. Nothing like this has happened before....I think it is terrific!! There are several restaurants within a short walk, too....and the weather is supposed to be mid 70's and sunny.....perfect!
Nobody has posted here about going...am I the only member going? I hope not....looks to be terrific day for a free outdoor Martina concert!!!
