    I'm sorry, but in my opinion this site has never gotten to the level of the previous site that Daren ran for Mrs. McBride. It was just plain more social with a lot more friendly and personal interaction between the people. That being said this site does the job.

    I think as fans sometimes we don't show enough appreciation for how good we have it. I think the comparisons should probably come to an end because obviously this site is here to stay.

    I think they have done a darn tootin good job! Especially putting up with the THOUSAND critics populating this board

    I love this site too! Using common sense and good manners, we have the ability to design the entertainment level here, in addition to the level in which being social or personal interaction occurs.

    If any of the above is being perceived as abated, I think that we have to look at ourselves as to what we do and do not contribute to this site and not make the "site" the scapegoat.

    From my early days here, I could ascertain that this site was fun waiting to happen and have shared that experience with many of you.

    Thank you for all of the smiles and laughter that I have experienced here, the information that we exchange, tolerating the comments of one very opinionated redhead.

    Thank you to our moderators for their volunteer work in keeping this site in harmony. (Mmmm, gotta work on pushing a innocent button on two with them soon.

    Thank you to Tracy and Martina for giving us this venue to be ourselves.

    We do get into some knock down drag outs once in a while, , but then again what family doesnt

    I agree with Steve. And the fact that you don't like to hear that some of us still don't think it's up to par speaks for itself.

    While I'm not going to start a thread on all the issues that still aren't fixed after 2 years (and there are many), I'm not going to sit back and let any one of you make light of the fact that there are still fans that disagree with you about this place and tolerate it because it is the official outlet for all things Martina. Just because it's her official site and here to stay doesn't make it a great site. It was made clear a long time ago that those in charge are tired of hearing from anyone that is unhappy and that nothing is going to change. We get it...we accept it. We keep our comments off the forum (for the most part) and we're abiding by the rules.

    My opinion to the topic of this thread...yeah, not really loving it or feeling like we 'have it so good'.

    Been a member for just a little over a year, this is all I know, can't compare it to the "old site".

    My experience has only been positive, came off 3 days of great live country music and I was beyond happy.

    Wanted to spread my happieness around, and thank you for all who do the same.

    Hey Shannon! I know a coupla peeps that went to the show, but i guess they havent shared about it..yet.. Heard it was AWESOME! lemme see if i can round em up, & get them to post about it! Maybe start a seperate thread- with the heading about how ya wanna know how the show was!! or something along those lines..

    To me it doesn't matter what the old site was like compared to this site. What matters to me is there is a place to go where there are people who care about Martina. How lucky we are that we have a site.

    Thanks AmyinAtlanta-I keep a look out for the responses. Its a beautiful venue for the concert- right on the water and small in seating capacity. I bet Martina loved it!! Shannon

    I happen to love this site myself. I was part of the old one for six months or so. Yes there have been changes, but the people can still keep their friendships if they choose.
    Your all entitled to your own opinion but for me this is a great place and I have met many wonderful folks here and continue to. Cheers to Martina and all who support her.
    There is one person no longer here that was smart, witty and a truly nice person. He knows who he is, so if he came back, that would great.

    I'm happy to be here with everyone and think we have a great community that celebrates martin as amazing talent. We work hard to keep upmwith the latest tech products and yeah bugs happen from time to time but in the end it's all about the love ofnthe music right?
