I was hoping so much for a Martinatini fix this year, so hope that when she goes on tour officially it will not be far from me in the heart of winter, just in case I can make up one for this year."..

Wasn't that the gate given before the release of the CD was pushed back? I wonder if the start of the tour will be postponed a few months as well?

And she owes us Europeans a visit as well, hehe :D Hopefully she really does come, otherwise I won't be able to see her :( And it's been waaay too long!!!

And I don't really think the album release date is going to affect the tour dates - the tour is supposed to promote the album and since the album is coming out in October, there's no need to push back the tour. I think it might be a repeat of Timeless tour-wise - album in October and tour starting in January. Although of course we'll have to wait for official tourdates a little later in the year. The Timeless dates for example got announced in November.

With the album in the can, it can take a couple of months to plan the tour as dates have to be scheduled that agree with Martina's availability. Gettting other acts, on the bill, etc. They could release tenative tour dates they may have, but that can be bad PR when dates have to get moved around.

One thing that I have noticed as an odd thing with Canada,is that it appears as though she has not actually played inside the city of Toronto in a very long time. Casino Rama is over and hour north of the city and Hamilton is and hour west. Considering the size of Toronto. Unlike a lot of US cities where people are used to travelling 40 miles outside the city for a show, people in Toronto are used to going downtown for baseball, hockey, football and shows.

it would be good if Martina did a WORLD TOUR, not just the US and Canada

How many country concerts does Toronto get? I know that Keith Urban and Lady A have given free concerts out here, I had heard it had to do with record sales.

    http://www.travelmath.com/flight-distance/
In accordance with this, Fairbanks to Miami - 3965 miles, Fairbanks to London - 4229 miles
The closest she was to Fairbanks was when she was in Vancouver BC - 1404 MILES away.
Based on one way, non stop flights, no such thing from Fairbanks
The only nonstop to and from Fairbanks with that kind of distance is Frankfurt Germany in the summer - 4409 miles
For me to see her - 1404 miles minimum, nope No such thing, Fairbanks to Seattle then drive to Vancouver
which would be 1521 air miles then 119 driving miles,=1640 miles one way
A world tour would be all the same to me. I would be for it, It would be a long distance to see her ANYWAY

Definitely hope so - I mean the flights go from Europe to the US and also from the US to Europe -
I know there would be more "luggage" involved but still ... please : I want to see Martina in concert and meet some of the fellow European fans ? would be really great !
