If this is a rumor, it's a very good one...AllAccess has Martina's new album listed as being titled "I'm Gonna Love You Through It" with an October 18th release date...and they're generally, as the people who post the daily Mediabase charts, a reliable source of information.

I'm a bit surprised by the choice, too, but I can see it...I don't know if this is the motivation for the title, but it's like she's loving her fans through every song on the project while also expressing love (among other emotions) through the characters in the songs she's singing. Plus, it could make sense from a strategy point of view...I have a feeling this is going to end up being a huge hit (so far, everyone I know who's heard it as a "casual listener" has loved it) and could very well define the album's success.

If this is indeed the title, can we please have the single art as the album cover? That picture is gorgeous.

By the way, I can definitely get used to this as the album title, but I'm still biased and prefer the one I came up with when Martina asked for suggestions on Twitter: "Light Up the Sky." ;)

Well, we're off to a good start. "Hot Shot Debut" status this week on Billboard, coming in at #50. :)

I think this single will be peaking right around the time of album release...I'm not too worried about this one, it doesn't seem to be nearly as polarizing as "Teenage Daughters" was. :)

I was hoping for a more rocking, fun, edgy, title....I'm Gonna Love You Through It seems too cutesy and soft to me for this new era and journey in her career. (Don't hate on me, I love the powerful content of the song itself!) I want a title that says "I'M MARTINA! I'M BACK...HEAR ME ROAR!!! Hey, how about something like that for the title?

~ The music video for this song was filmed in Nashville yesterday (7/26). According to Martina, it will feature several breast cancer survivors including Good Morning America's Robin Roberts, the Today show's Hoda Kotb, Lily Isaacs (the woman who inspired the song), and many others. Sounds really powerful!

~ On a note unrelated to this single, but pertaining to the new album as a whole, Martina confirmed to a fan's tweet message that "Marry Me" featuring Train is going to be on the new CD. She also confirmed the release date of 10/18, but did not say anything one way or another about the album title.

A friend of mine just told me about this song. I am a 44-year-old breast cancer survivor from Kansas, with a 12-year-old son and 3-year-old daughter and amazing husband. I was diagnosed in April of 2010. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this song, Martina!! From one Kansas girl to another, THANK YOU for recording it! Also, my birthday is October 18, so I am excited that your CD will come out on that day (and during breast cancer awareness month). I can't wait to order it! The album title is perfect!! I just heard this song and read the lyrics...I have chills. I manage a large cancer center and this song is exactly what many of our patients go through. It brought tears to my eyes and really touches my heart. I'd love to put a link to the slide show of lyrics and music and put it on my company's FB page. Am I able to do that?

Of course when Martina performed this song at the Invitation Only taping, we all cried. She performed it at the fan club party and there wasn't one dry eye in the place. Then about a week ago, I got a call from my birth mother. She told me that my nana (her mother) was diagnosed with cancer and that the doctors found two brain tumors. I've tried to keep it hush-hush on my facebook and twitter accounts but with you guys, I feel like I can share. They find out today what the options are. This song strikes a chord with so many people. To everyone on this site who is a CANCER SURVIVOR, I must say that I am so glad you are here and sharing your stories with us! To everyone who is FIGHTING CANCER, please do not give up. Fight, Fight, FIGHT. I've met so many cancer survivors lately. I work at Harley Davidson and we have what is called a Pink Label section. Anything purchased from that section will have a portion of the proceeds going towards breast cancer. The more I tell people about it, the more survivors I meet. This song is so amazing and will do wonders for people who have had, have known someone who's had, or is fighting cancer. I can't wait to see the music video. I can't wait to see how far this song goes on the charts. Congratulations to Martina... This song is already number one in our hearts.

I have a friend who I thought of when I heard this song. She got breast cancer at 40 and has 3 kids.

She is on vacation right now so I texted and told to go to youtube to listen to this song. She texted me back and said "OMG! I cried thru the whole song! Thanks 4 sharing!"

This song is very powerful, gonna touch alot of people.
