I am wondering if anyone else is having difficulty getting their money refunded from ground control for the Pittsburgh Concert. I requested my refund 2 weeks ago and have yet to get it or an update on where the process stands. Ground ctrl said "The funds for your refund are tied up with the venue because we bought these tickets from them so far in advance. We are following up with them today and will have the funds you paid for your ticket back in our account shortly to be forwarded to you." That was 2 weeks ago. I don't understand why my business with ground ctrl is affected by their business with the venue.
Just wanted to know if there were others in the same boat.

I heard two different things. First, I heard that we could have our money refunded to us if desired, but the tickets for the postponed show will be honored at the rescheduled concert next spring. Then, I was told that ground control is in talks with the venue and everyone may be getting a refund. I, personally, would like to be given the option considering we got great seats (2nd row) from the presale, and I've never had that before! But, I guess we just have to wait and see...

I liked my seats as well and had planned to keep mine.

No. I'm still hoping it's a true postponement and not a cancellation. I've not tried to get a refund. I'll see what I can find out.

I just talked to a Ground Ctrl rep and was told they are waiting for the promoter to refund the money and everyone who bought tickets through the fanclub will have their money refunded to their card. Sounds to me this is a cancellation. I was also told it could take a few more days. Ground Ctrl is at the mercy of the promoter. I hope it is not too much longer and it would be nice if someone would have posted/sent an email notifying everyone who bought tickets on what was happening.

Interesting, ticketmaster was still selling tickets to the TBD version of this ... this morning.

The question that is still in my mind over Pittsburgh is, what if the tour routing for next spring requires a change in venue? If that's the case, there there is a real mess to deal with as the tickets would be refunded and then people would have to try all over again for their tickets.

Sigh! not a lot of answers, but certainly a lot of questions. Just happy to hit Niagra in a couple of days.

Thanks for posting this. Saves me time on the phone. Not happy because it looks like we're out a concert.

Perhaps an executive decision can be made by the management in how to treat the people who were impacted by this.

My suggestion is when the next Pittsburgh show is announced to allocate some special tickets by those inconvenienced by the cancellation/date change. The people who had tickets for the orginal show should be offered either the same tickets or better.

For those who live outside of the Pittsburgh area, perhaps they could be offered the same quality of tickets they had for the show of their choice.

I'm not saying that this should be done for all the tickets, but maybe done for the fanclub tickets sold through Ground Control

Agreed. Well, all we can hope for (IF it's happening this way), is that her management / promoter will give the fan club the first opportunity to have a presale, so that we can snag the same great seats that we had this time around. It crushes me that we had 2nd row center seats for this one...never had seats that great before.

well i just bought 4th row center for this show... so im hoping when she reschedule i will get 4th row or better.
although not sure why she was going to that venue to begin with... its ok for someone who is up and comming
but would rather see her at post gazettte or the arena. plus if she is touring with geoge next year and they come
to pittsburgh do you really think she will reschedule in pittsburgh.

Matt, I'm almost 100% positive they'll come to Pittsburgh! Just still REALLY, REALLY hoping that they'll still honor the seats that we originally purchased for this show as promised, for those who still want to keep them.

its just weird i bought 4th row yesterday for a show and i dont even know the date.
shows you how much i love martina. i coudn't go to the original date because i had bought tickets
to see tim mcgraw the next night and back to back concert nights dont know if i could handle that on
the pocket book. so lets hope she come back for a resheduled show and then she comes back with george
and then that train thing... i hope she does a small club or pepsi roadhouse in burgettstown would be cool.
i never thought that i would see tim mcgraw at the pepsi roadhouse and my dream came true a couple of years
ago he put on a benefit show. which was cool it was real laid back and took request. it was great. hoping marting
does that maybe when promoting her album.
