CMT Blog: CMT Unplugged: Martina McBride Seeking Her Biggest Fan

Martina McBrideCMT will tape Starburst Presents CMT Unplugged: Martina McBride on Monday (July 25) and her biggest fans in the Nashville area are invited to apply to attend the session by sending a request to tickets@gothamcasting.com. Please write "Martina McBride" in the subject line and include your name, age (must be at least 18 years old), phone number, city and state and a recent photo. You may bring one guest with you. If applicable, please include your guest's name, photo and age. The request must also include your favorite McBride song and why you are such a fan. Upon receiving the email requests, the casting agency will contact the selected audience members with the final details. The time has not yet been announced, so applicants must be available all day. Fans must be in the Nashville area to apply for the show.

I don't think Virginia counts as "The Nashville area..." Sad. It's summer, I'm off, and I could totally go. :(

According to what I've read, I don't think you necessarily have to LIVE in the Nashville area. I believe that you just need to be in that area on the day of the taping. I'm assuming anyone can apply to go as long as you know for sure that you'll be able to attend! Good luck!!

Oh my gosh, this is UNBELIEVABLE! She has been all over the place these past several months! Thank God for the new label for giving her these amazing opportunities to shine and show the world what she's got, and what some have been missing.

I owuld have applied had I considered that I didn't actually have to live in Nashville. :( Sad... since summer is the only time I can go to anything. Would have been awesome.

i applied and have heard nothing. i wanted to use my air points and fly down but its a little late now.. Did anyone get picked?

I haven't heard of anyone getting picked... My hopes were NOT incredibly high considering a recent picture of myself was requested....

I applied too...haven't heard anything either. I even used a Nashville address in hopes for an easy entry...but nada!

okay...I got to give Ground Control big kudos for not blowing up on that user name Amy:

oh and they took me for the Invitation Only event after seeing my picture...if they'd take me you all stand a great chance for unplugged.
