Happy New Year Update!

Happy New Year everyone!

Hope you all had a great holiday season. We had a quiet Christmas (well, it was quiet until Ava found the hot pink drumset Santa left for her in her room!). We opened presents, had a big breakfast and just stayed at the house. It was a white Christmas, which I wish for every year. It was so beautiful and peaceful.

On to 2011. I wish I could express how excited I am by everything that is happening in my career. I start rehearsals January 8th for the new record. I have found some of the best songs of my career, I believe, and I can't wait to get in and make this record.

As you know I made some changes in the past year with management and my record label. So many things contributed to my decision and it was a long-time coming. Change is not really easy for me. But suffice to say I have now surrounded myself with positive people and positive energy. And it's like the Universe opened up and said, "here ya go...here are about 25 of the best songs you have ever found. Oh, and here's a burst of creativity and vision while we're at it!" I haven't felt this inspired for a long time. I have been searching for inspiration, honestly, since the new cuts I did for the Greatest Hits record. It's a scary thing when you think it may be gone forever. But I'm thrilled to say that I think it was just emotional clutter and negative energy junking up the place! And now, there is NOTHING but inspiration and creativity. I feel it and see it everywhere. It's so exciting to me and I know you are going to feel it on this next record.

Stay tuned as I will be sending updates and even photos and videos from the recording of the album. I want you guys to go on this amazing journey right along with me!

Wow.... I'm so glad to hear that Martina is feeling all fired up... Makes me excited about this next album!

yeah i cant wait for the new cd Martina sounds so excited about it, i know i might be saying this a lot but i hope she tours with the new cd and come to Australia, i only say it a lot but you guys a really lucky you get to see Martina a lot.
