What a beautiful, inspirational song!
Weird, though...it doesn't really sound like Martina throughout some of the song. Lower range, or something I can't quite put my finger on. It's funny, too, because I remember her saying that with each child, her voice has gotten lower...yet, this song was recorded years ago.
Still, though, a gorgeous song!

I have this on my IPod. This is one of Martina's best songs. It has gotten me through so much! Love her for this song! So much! :)

My dream finally came true on 10-3-08 in Charlotte, NC and 4-30-10 in Greensboro, NC I finally met Martina!!!:) -

Love it!And I personally love when Martina uses her lower range.I wish she'd use it more often.

I know! I forwarded it to tons of people in my address book since a lot of them are going through (or know someone who is going thru) tough times right now for one reason or another. Many people replied back the same thing...That's Martina? Really? Doesn't sound like her. BEAUTIFUL song, though! They all loved it!!!

OK so after reading all your comments I was intrigued, because to me the song has always sounded exactly like Martina and I was surprised by all those comments. But when I listened to the version of the song in that video, it all became clear :D This is sooooo not the way that song sounds on the CD!! I listened to both versions like 3 times! LOL So here is another video with that song, this time with a version that sounds right :D

BTW, for anyone interested, there is a bunch of The Mercy Project CDs on ebay :) And they're really cheap too!
