    BTW.........Re. "Turning Japanese" by The Vapors.......I loved,loved,loved that song and I've still got the single after all these years!!!! And just because of that - and also cos I started this thread in the first place, Carolyn, you ain't disqualified!! In fact, good on ya for reminding me about this blast from the past. Only trouble is...it's gonna be rattling round in my head for ages now !!!!

    Thank you, English Di ! Btw, if you are not one of the "Royals," would you mind if I ask your real name is? It's funny, I was really on a roll and I suppose I became over confident and posted that and turned red, thinking people are going to think I have the IQ of a turnip!

    Thank you England for all the great rock bands. As you likely know, I am a Led Zeppelin fanatic. So many great contributions of rock from the UK, The Beatles, The Stones, The Kinks, etc. etc. All of these bands have stated that they were strongly influenced by American music, esp. our blues. Nice how things come around, is'nt it?
